Our family portrait! This is pretty much the story of our life in one photo.. us trying to control 2 big dogs and a toddler!

OUr friend Jessie offered to take some family pictures for us with her super awesome camera. They turned out great.. but I'm saving the really good ones for potential christmas cards!

Joey is an outdoorsman.. he hiked up and back down the hill at the Laurention Divide.

Just wanted to let everyone know, that we had our 3 month appt. today, and the baby's heart rate is 158. We were so relieved to hear it. I needed to know that something was growing in my belly, making me throw up every other day! We won't be able to find out if it is a boy or girl for 2 more months. Happy Monday!

Friday Night Lights

TOnight was the first home game of the season, we had to go watch coach ed. VHS played cloquet. not sure how it turned out, we left at halftime. The Johnson gang invited a bunch of us for the annual pre-game bbq. Here are the boys, Leo, Joey, and Will.

Joey braved the water again, i think it is sept. 13th today.. that's about as far in as they got though. They were giving the puppies a "bath" in the lake, to try and get Winfrey's skunk smell off of her. (that was a few weeks ago, but the smell still lingers)

The screen porch!!! My parents have been working on this almost every weekend, today they were staining boards for the inside (if you look close, you can see them drying inside). We are really looking forward to being able to use this next year!

Like Grandpa like grandson?

And of course, a stop at the Y for ice cream. Not a great picture of me.. for those that may not have heard yet, we are expecting our 2nd child on April 1st! I start 12 weeks this week, and have been feeling nauseous for about two months. I've gained a good 15 pounds, and have thrown up a lot. On the 21st, we hope to hear a strong heart beat. I'll feel better once I hear that. But the fact that I have been so sick is a positive sign that the baby is growing. So far we've had predictions of a girl and/or twins.. we'll see people!

I was doing some transplanting tonight, and Joey was all about playing in the dirt!

Is it sad that I'm excited for next spring to see what my flowers are going to look like??
