a beautiful day!

Joey, Grandma B, 3 golden retrievers and I drove to the lake today, to pick up the pack and play for the new baby aho which will hopefully arrive in 4 weeks or less. It was so nice outside, the sun was shining, the birds were chirping.. we all have cabin fever!

this is how we roll with our tonka trucks in MN, not only can we haul sand, but we can haul firewood and snow!!

Joey is still participating with a saturday morning gymnastics class. he is working on sommersaults, walking on the balance beam, the bars, and cart wheels. he is the youngest in the class, but manages to follow directions, with occaisionally running over to mom and dad for some moral support. and we love how he calls it "nastics"

Life has been kind of hectic lately. Derek and I had the stomach flu 2 weeks ago, and then he just got off of his week of working afternoon shift, which gets long. Derek is also taking classes through the University of Phoenix, he has one year done, one year to go, to finish his Bachelor's degree. And this five week class is math... so that has taken up some time and is a little frustrating. I can't imagine going back to school in my 30's and taking Algebra. yuck! We decided to have some friends over on Saturday to watch curling, here is my co-worker Angie's son Zach.

It was a beautiful day today, so we decided to head outside. For some reason, Joey thought it would be a good idea to wake up at 5:30 am today, right after I finished cleaning up Bentley's mess at 5:00 am (he threw up).. and Joey only slept an hour for nap today... we've had a long day.. i'm ready for bed..

and i learned that you should never tell a toddler anything until right before it happens. Joey was very excited for his cousin Celia to come over this evening. Every hour he kept asking... is C.C. here yet? Is she coming? Is she here???

Sorting toys.. thanks grandma b for keeping the kids entertained. we only had 2 head collisions by the end of the night.. hopefully their foreheads won't be bruised too bad!!! THanks Thompsons and Skubics (we missed you jeff) for coming over.

baby update: 35 weeks... hopefuly 5 weeks or less to go!

Happy Super Bowl

Derek decided who he was going to root for based on the cake he found at Super One. I know I've been neglecting the blog. Last week was really bad, both Derek and I ended up with the stomach flu, which is no fun anyway, but especially not fun when you are pregnant. I had an MD appt. and another ultrasound as well. My doctor was worried about placenta previa, but there are no signs of that. She said I'm measuring farther along. I told her Joey came 10 days before his due date and I asked what the chances were for #2 coming before April 1, and she said about 75%. So we'll be ready by the middle of March. Joey asks everyday when his birthday is, and we tell him March. I think we will be having his birthday party before the 20th just in case. Hope everyone enjoyed watching the Super Bowl!
