underwear head
i found my thumb!

On Friday the Padgett family was nice enough to take a drive up and have dinner with us. It is always chaotic with kids, but we had a good visit. Joey was trying to make Miss Emma smile.

We even loaded up the kids and walked to southside park. I think next year we are going to have to get all the kids in the kiddie parade. is it too late for this year?

who's that baby?

Parade season has started! Usually Grandma's marathon falls on Land of the Loon weekend, but since I was not running it this year, we were able to go to the parade. We were at the end, which was a bonus because people were dumping all their candy to get rid of it. Joey was very excited. We are pumped for the 4th of July. Get ready dads to help regulate for the little kids!

These three were working very hard to catch some craw fish using polish. We figured if we get enough we could ship them to new orleans and linz and brian could make some big cash.

how much do you think we could get for these big guys down there??

I have to head back to work tomorrow. Joey and Audrey will be going to Pammy's. Hopefully Audrey will do ok with the bottle and enjoy watching all the kids. I will still have Tuesdays off, I am thankful for that. We have been busy with swimming on Tuesdays with Joey and tee ball on Wednesdays. The summer is flying by already. I am really excited to see everyone over the fourth. It is my favorite holiday you know!

busy weekend

I was not so great at taking pictures this weekend..we were so busy!. went to Elk River Thursday, dropped joey off at the skubic household, while derek, audrey and i headed to children's hospital, during the strike. audrey had her VCUG there, and the MD said she has grade 2 refulx, and will stay on her antibiotics for one year. we are to come back and see him in a year. she has a 70% chance of healing on her own. so no surgery! yea! we are glad to know why she got the infection. now we will just keep watching for signs. if it were to happen again, they would just change her antibiotic. thanks to erin and cc for entertaining joey, while mom and dad tried to use the gps to get back to elk river, but ended up taking 494 in rush hour traffic...
we stayed one night at the skubics, and then two nights at the waterpark holiday inn in otsego. we were there with the aho families for a graduation party. joey had one swimming lesson last tuesday..and we found out we have a lot to work on..but after a few minutes this kid was swimming like crazy..with only one fall into the pool..our little fish wanted to swim by himself and kept telling dad to "go over there" so he could swim by himself.

erin and i had a most needed long laugh with our trip down the double tube water slide. i think there was a death threat involved and someone may have peed their pants a little due to laughing too hard...

we had a great weekend.oh.. i forgot. we went to the twins game friday night.. and the children and i made it not even through the first inning and we were headed towards the parking ramp..back to otsego. good effort..got to see target field anyways and have a hot dog.

my tired little boy after a long day of swimming, grad party, and swimming again.

I should probably be doing laundry or cleaning the house or something productive, but blogging is more fun. Audrey has rolled over from her stomach to her back, and we have grandma and grandpa as witnesses. We really hope auntie binzer and uncle brian can meet her soon..

hmm..i'm pretty sure he's not autistic..but he does like to organize and put things in a line. he definately did not get that from me.
