St. Paul

Our weekend in St. Paul..Saturday morning we were up bright and early at 5:30 am..and off to MOA. Yes, my child went on the big kid roller coaster. aghhh! Joey and Derek are in the 4th car!
Building with leggos. So fun!
Audrey is more into taking apart than putting together..

Enjoying some rides at the Mall of America. We enjoyed a family weekend down in St. Paul. We thought we'd bring Joey to MOA to hit up some rides. I loved watching his excited face. It was so worth it!
Getting cozy at our hotel in St. Paul.
Getting some crazies out before bed time. Poor Derek was running on more than 24 hrs. of no sleep.
Yea for daddies who take their kids swimming!
Audrey enjoying the view
Audrey's first trip to the Mall of America. She was thrilled!

The Skubics joined us on Saturday afternoon. We decided to head to Rice Park to see the ice sculptures....where'd they go???

Jeff had an awesome idea to take a carriage ride back to the hotel.
Hard to see in this picture, but there is our carriage and Millie the pregnant horse! Now back to the boring week routine. =( Bye St. Paul.

These pictures are out of order..sorry..
Today was skate with the Blue Devils! It was a great event. The varsity players autographed t-shirts for the kids, and they were giving away lots of prizes!
Derek got A LOT of crap from many people for being a basketball player with a kid on skates. Even Coach Hendrickson had to take a picture of Joey to prove it! Whatever the kids decide to play or join, we will support them the best we can!
Saturday we buzzed up to Ely to check out the snow sculptures and of course go to Sir G's.
Some people were still working on their sculptures. It was a little bit colder than I thought.
You can't really see it, but this sculpture was "4 feet of snow" w/4 different kinds of feet.
back to skating w/the blue devils...
Getting autographs.
A very sweaty boy!!
..sorry binz...we missed you guys!
Audrey's 1st trip to sir G's

Hanging out with Bentley. Audrey is 10 1/2 months old and is a BUSY little girl. She loves to climb on everything. She is starting to imitate actions from songs which is really fun.
"Here Bentley, you can have your bone."

Waiting for warm weather

Unfortunately, due to the ton of snow, and lack of insulation in our house, we have had problems with our window leaking. Joey was up to the challenge of fixing the leaky window.
trying to find stuff to do.. i use shaving cream a lot at work, so we dared to try it at home. it's a great way to practice writing shapes and letters.
Audrey tackling her brother..i think she might be able to hold her own..someday..

eating like a big girl. this child loves pizza!!
