Happy 1st Birthday triple A!

Tomorrow is Audrey Ann Aho's first birthday. She was 10 days early, like her brother. She has kept us on our toes ever since. Cousin Celia sent out these awesome butterfly wings for Audrey. I think she might need to get used to them, just like she needs to get used to pretties in her hair!
Always on the move. She is a busy girl who loves climbing up and down the stairs, onto chairs, into boxes, you name it, she's there!
She also loves teasing her puppies.
She is very "active" as her Auntie Binzer noticed while trying to skype. She is all wet, because she dumped a full glass of water on herself..don't ask...
Next week, we will be going down to Mpls, for her appointment at Children's Hospital, where they will be doing a renal ultrasound and VCUG to check the status of her ureters and bladder. We have had to give her a low dose of antibiotic every day for the last 10 months to prevent another urinary tract infection from occurring. We are hoping her Grade II reflux has cured itself, and that she has "grown out of" the problem. We will find out on the 31st.
I think Audrey wants to be like her cousin CC. She still only has 2 teeth..

We will be having her birthday party April 9th, after my parents get back from HI, and after her doctor's appointment. We are hoping to have lots to celebrate. Check your mailboxes!!

Happy 4th Birthday party Joey!

So these pictures are in reverse order. Why can't I ever get this right?? So this picture should have been the last one. We had Joey's birthday party tonight, up at the Rehab Center where I work. There is a big auditorium room in the basement, and I am sooooo glad we decided to have it there. Lots of room to run! Joey wanted a super hero birthday party. There were lots of costumes, chasing, screaming, sweating, and fun! And I didn't have to clean my house before and after! I think that is Derek under the pile of kids, I can tell by the Nikes.
Even Grandma B and Grandpa Paul sported some superhero wear.
Joey and his day care buddy Kaleb.
Auntie Binzer and Uncle Brian sent a superman onesie for Audrey, and Joey's super cool Iron Man costume. He has worn it every day since Tuesday, as well as at night to sleep in. Iron Man also was worn to Target the other day.
Joey handing the birthday gift bags out to his friends.
The craziness of opening presents!
Happy Birthday to Derek on the 17th, Joey on the 20th, and Audrey on the 23rd.
Sitting with Auntie "Snefanie", Hailey and Audrey.
The kids ran around for about 1/2 an hour and then ate dinner. I had an obstacle course set up for the kids, and a parachute.
Even baby Alice (4 months) made it to the party!
..almost one!
Wahoo!
loving his costume
the Grandma's trying to get Audrey to walk
Before the chaos! We survived a 4 yr old boy birthday party!! Joey had a blast. It was a very fun evening. Now I'm going to bed!! (before I have to start planning Audrey's 1st birthday party)

Weekend project

What started out as a date night, ended up as a bathroom upgrade project! Derek and I went out to eat on Saturday night in Hibbing, after my parents offered to watch the kids for us. After dinner at Zimmy's we ended up at Lowe's. We needed a new faucet for a vanity in the bathroom, and decided what the heck..lets get a new vanity too! Audrey thought it was her new fort, but it didn't stay in the living room for long!
Grandpa Paul came back over on Sunday to help us (Derek) install it. Of course Derek had his helper by his side.
Audrey still thinks it is her new fort. I guess I won't be putting anything of mine in the drawers quite yet! At least we also bought an over the sink mirror/cupboard to store our stuff.
Grandma Nancy and Uncle Darren came over to check out the project.
My mom has started a blog. See their link under "Aysta" in our blog list.

Ta Da!

Audrey's been able to stand for about 5 seconds by herself. She thinks she is pretty hot stuff. She is a very busy little girl. It is next to impossible to get anything done anymore.
This picture just says it all! How long before she is sticking her tongue out at us??

I turn my back for 1 second, and she finds a treat in daddy's lunch pail.
It was so beautiful today, I woke Derek up early, and we went out to Giants Ridge to try Joey on skis. We were only there about 1/2 hr, but I think he likes it!
