Our craziness

Still wearing winter jammies.
Joey and his teddy from Build a Bear (from Auntie Binz and Uncle Bri).
Open fence gate= 2 escaped dogs=found lots of mud after 3 straight days of rain=very dirty dog.
No words needed. Is this any indication of her personality?

Grandma's Half Marathon 2011

Trying to capture the crowd! At 4:00 a.m. on our drive down it was pouring rain. But thankfully at the start of the race it quit raining.
My girls Amber and Stacey! We stuck together the whole race, and I got my personal best at 2 hours and ten minutes! Smiling at the start of the race.
Derek was able to catch us close to the finish line. Still holding strong!
Still smiling at the end of the race.
The kids came down with me on Friday to pick up my race packet.

McKinley Park

This morning we drove up to Grandpa Glen and Grandma Nancy's camper. They cooked delicious pancakes and bacon. What a great way to start the day, eating breakfast outside while looking out at the lake.
Joey wanted to try fishing off the rock. I don't know if any of my Tower relatives ever etched their name into this big rock, but there are lots of names from many many years ago!
My child is not afraid of minnows.. She loves them!
Grandma and Joey showing Great Grandpa how many craw fish they caught.

Fishing with Grandpa
The heron nests at the lake
This last weekend we stayed in Mpls at the Embassy Suites to attend Derek's graduation from the University of Phoenix with his Bachelor's Degree in Management. Both sets of parents and Lindsey and Brian stayed as well.
(Sorry for the out of order). Joey found a picture of his cousins Drew and Hailey, and loved it so much, it had to sit right next to him while he was watching his movie.
Auntie and Uncle flew in from Hawaii and boy was Joey excited to see them!!

Audrey loving the pool!

Joey loving playing with his Auntie Binzer.
This was Auntie and Uncle's arrival. Joey was so excited! He was hiding under the blankets!
The Aysta's and Aho's gathering at the hotel.

Our nephew Drew also had a graduation, from 6th grade! On to junior high!
Saturday morning, Derek and his parents and I went to Orchestra Hall to watch him walk accross the stage. What a proud moment. It has been a long haul, working midnights, trying to balance work, family, school, and a little golf. I am so proud of my husband. I teared up the entire ceremony!
It is never too late to pursue your goals.
Feeding Grandma Nancy pretzles.

We were able to get together with the Burgess family at Fort Snelling beach and picnic area. A big thanks to Erin for doing some research for me to find the place and ordering the cake. I'm glad we were able to all get together.

Great Auntie Susie taking a turn at watching Audrey.

What a secret hot spot in the cities. It was such a cool park. The jets flew right over the beach. My crazy girl loved the water!
Super mom!
Congrats to Derek and Linnea, who is graduating with her Master's Degree!

At least half of the family were able to get together. Of course we always miss those that couldn't be there, including NE Maras's, CT Thompsons, CA Feroni's, and Esko Burgess's.
Cousins
A little quiet time before our trip to the Mall of America.
Can anyone guess who these two fishes are?

Loved every minute watching my family go on rides with Joey. I have never seen this boy so excited!
