Fun times

I had a great birthday. Derek suprised me with Sir G's for supper! He went all the way to Ely to pick it up and bring it home. My parents came over for dinner, and after I went to try and play tennis with Julie, Katie, Emma, and Nikki. It was really fun, and I'm sooo sore today!
The kids have enjoyed their little pool when the days have been so hot.
brother/sisterly love!
We grew green peppers!!

Its too hot!!

It is way too hot for this MN girl!!! My cousin Shanyn and her husband Steve, and daughter Alivia (from NC) came up for a visit. We went to my Uncle Gary and Cathy's for lunch. Alivia is 7 weeks older than Audrey.
The kids tried to stay cool in the pool.

Just kick'n it!

Busy summer

A few weeks back, I braved taking the kids to Duluth by myself. We stopped at the zoo for about 45 minutes, and then Joey said "Mom, I'm starving!"
So off to McDonald's we went, and had a picnic at the Rose Garden. All was good until the seagulls became aggressive, because they wanted Joey's fries.
(sorry for out of order, I'm blogging quick before work). We stopped by the farm animals at the zoo, and Joey saw the donkey, "It's like on Shrek mom!"
Hanging out at Julie and Kevin's cabin with Leo and Clark. The kids saw a bunny in the yard, and were so excited!!

Picking blueberries at our secret spot with Grandpa Paul, a few were ready, hopefully in the next week we will be able to get more.

The busy observer.
Leo and Joey digging holes in the sand, at Sand Lake.
Last weekend my co-workers, and good friends, Kelly and Angie and I were supposed to go to Katy Perry, but she cancelled the concert due to food poisoning. We went anyway, shopped at Southdale Mall, and then to Hard Rock Cafe, to people watch. We had a fun, low key girls night.

Joey learned to ride his bike without training wheels!!! In a matter of about a week, he has mastered riding his bike on the sidewalk, not sure if we are ready for the road yet, but we'll keep practicing!

..after picking blueberries, Audrey dumped the tupperwear container of blueberries all over the back of my truck, oh fun times!

Happy 4th of July

McKinley park campground. Audrey loved the water!
Catching a sun tan!
Playing in Grandpa Glen's boat.
Super dads!
My love bugs.
Waiting for a gator ride.
Grandma B chillen on the dock with the kids
Silly Celia!
Cousins! I hope these guys stay buddies forever.

Sweet family picture!

Sweating it out at the Tower parade. We didn't make the whole thing, Joey wanted to head back to the cabin. Too hot!! You can't jump from 40 degrees-88degrees and adapt in a week!
Watching the parade in the shade.

Another great 4th. I always love seeing our families. Life is a little bit busy and distracting with little kids, but some day I will be able to sit and visit with everyone and take it all in!
