On Sunday I went to the cabin with the dogs and Joey, well Winfrey must have gotten into a nest of some insect... It wasn't so bad at 4:00, but by 8:30 and after 2 doses of benadryl she was still swollen. She was up all night long, rubbing her face on the floor and furniture, pacing and unable to sleep, therefore so were we. Two calls in to the vets, one at 1:00 a.m., with just advice for benadryl and aspirin. Then Joey got up at 4:00, so not much sleep was had on Sunday night...I'm going to need to carry an Epi-pen for the dang dog!!

Omygosh! She looks miserable!! Poor baby dog. Can you make her some soup or something?!?
Ohhhh..it looks so painful! I know what the epi-pens are all about! Poor baby! Is she doing better now?
oh my goodness...it is sad but I couldn't stop laughing ( is that bad?) I just kept thinking about when we were in AZ and she had a reaction remember? how we sat at the vet and we were all soo worried about her. Poor girl!!
