You would think that we were going to be gone a month, with the car loaded up with a stroller, pack and play, food, bottles, clothes, a baby and us! Derek was on long weekend so we went and stayed on Canal Park. Joey got to walk the lake walk, see his first ship come under the lift bridge, see the beach where daddy proposed to mommy, and have his friend Leo come down to swim in the pool. Joey liked splashing in the pool, even though it was brief. He did so well, I couldn't believe how easy he went down to bed. Must have been all the fresh air. We had a great time, and thanks to Lindsey, Brian, Grandma B and Grandpa P for dog sitting.

Looks like a lot of fun! Did you take him by the old house on 5th Street? Did you let him taste a Portland Malt? Oh wait, are you still boycotting them?? Next time maybe we'll tag along for some Duluth fun!!

Glad you guys had a blast in Duluth. Nice to see Dad spend some of his "taconite" income.

Boycott the malt shop. Are you crazy?

Feed Joe as many malts as he can handle. He will be able to dunk a bb at 15 years old.

Isn't it funny how once you have kids a vacation isn't a tropical island, but a hotel one hour from home?

Glad you had fun - we miss Duluth! (and you guys too)
