Weekend in Duluth

We stayed in Duluth this weekend with the Skubic gang and had a great time despite very windy weather! The waves were very big, and the dad's would have to grab the kids and run away from the shoreline because the water would come so close!
The two kids were very well behaved, they sat very still, and enjoyed playing in the pack and play.... yea right. I think they stayed in here for 10 seconds or less!!!
We chased toddlers around the lake walk and canal park. They got lots of exercise and fresh air and took good naps and slept well at night. Who knew a bike rack could be so fun to play on??

Out to dinner. We decided next time we should bring Grandparents??? Cause when the kids were done... they were done...

PS i got to see baby Clark in the NICU, he is very cute. Julie said yesterday that they discontinued his oxygen. His respiration rate is still funky, he was now jaundice, but they were hoping to be home Tuesday.

Beanie weather already? We probably won't see our hats and jackets 'til Feb. We're looking forward to some cooler weather. Looks like you guys had a great time and the kids are adorable, as usual!

What a blast you all had in Duluth. Did you stop at any quilt and sewing shops? Forgot, that is what Sally does. I would love to join you guys on your next trip to Duluth. Grandparents can go out while you guys watch the kids. Great idea Shelly.
