Joey misses CC

Every day Joey asks to see CC on the computer. He is finally feeling better, and so is mom (i only threw up once). Joey likes to pick out his own clothes, and since he was in pj's all weekend, he wanted to wear "jammies" again today. I just kept them on for long underwear since it was still below zero today...we miss you CC!! XOXOXOXO tell your mommy to put new music on the blog.. i think i can sing that song by heart now for as many times as we check out your blog!

the flu =(

no new pics, sorry. Joey is getting over the stomach flu. he threw up at 4th grade basketball practice, all over derek, and then me the rest of the night (Thursday). i think there should be a club, the "I survived my child having the flu" club. i must say, these last few days have been the most challenging. i feel so bad for my toddler. he is coming around though. Derek was on midnights, and did his best to get jammies, cups, and extra blankets ready. by 2:00 a.m. joey and i had been in the tub twice, the bathroom was stacked full of dirty laundry, and i was on the verge of a panic attack, but we survived. he's just been really tired. any day that no one throws up is a good day...

A nice visit...

Linnea and Ernie stopped by, they were in town visiting Linnea's grandma who is in the nursing home. Joey was having a blast playing with "Eener".

Bad Idea?

We looked over and Joey had put his tractor on the couch and was going to try and ride it up here...

I can't describe in words how I felt today when I watched my son put on my shoes and his dad's hat... this little boy that is looking up to us to love him and provide him with all the opportunity we can, no pressure or anything right? Now we really have to be careful with what we do and say.. he's watching our every move... and imitating it...This parenting thing... what a trip....

Joey has some awesome dance moves, and i can rarely get it on film, we love how he puts his shoulder in to it. He definately got his dancing skills from his dad, not me!!

We went to the boys basketball game last night with the JOhnson fam and Ed. Joey climbed the bleachers with his buddy LEo, these two are impossible to get a still picture of. I have to brag, My hubby Derek is in a history of VHS basketball book, as one of the top 5 players in the decade of the 90's.

Happy New Year!!

Joey's loving his new kitchen and train set. He is talking so much more, every day he has new words.

We got together at Julie and Kevin's for New Year's Eve.. We got home at 9:00 p.m. which was later than last year! Wahoo! Here are Maggie, Julie and I. Maggie is out of the Navy and now in MOnteray, CA, job searching and living with her boyfriend Charles who is in the Navy.

Mag's and Baby Clark. He had a rough start, and not too many babies can say they've ridden in a helicopter, but Clark is doing great. He is a strong little 3 month old boy and he's doing well.

This picture of CC was from when we stayed at Erin and Jeff's..she's so cute! Joey is obsessed with Celia and at least a few times a day we have to open the blog to look at pictures..

Again.. Joey decided he needed another pair of pants over his jammies. Just wanted to say thank you to the Skubic's for the awesome blocks. We've been playing with them a lot.. Joey had a great idea of parking his trains in them! THese toddlers.. they are so fun to watch!
