Joey is one of the boys! It's amazing with how much energy he has, that he will sit on the dock and hold a fishing pole!

The fam! Derek and I were going to try and sleep in the tent. Joey stayed in the cabin with Grandma and Grandpa, in his pack and play. Derek named us the Grizwalds. On friday night, the wind picked up at 10:00 p.m., I was a little nervous, but we decided to try it. Then it started raining, no big deal, kind of romantic and soothing... then I started feeling drips of water on my head, and my blankets were getting all wet. We decided to head back to Pike River (leaving JOey in the cabin with gram and gramps) at 11:30 pm. We got to my parents house, and Winfrey decided to catch a toad in her mouth. Within 10 seconds she was foaming at the mouth and making this horrible coughing/choking sounds. We looked at eachother, wondering what the heck to do at midnight on a Friday night.. I was able to give her 2 benadryl, and she finally chilled out. I don't know if the toad peed in her mouth or what... anyways.. back to the cabin we went Saturday morning.

JOey is the new fisherman in the bunch. He had a blast.

The dogs really wanted to eat some S'mores.

Grandma Nancy and Joey playing with a minnow at McKinley Park.

We had a very fine dinner with Grandpa Glen and Grandma Nancy.

Linz...want to send this to your school and see if we can get compensated for advertising for Tulane in MN?

We survived a night in the tent with two golden retrievers! No rain, no toads, no lightneing.. just wind, loons, birds, and at 5:00 a.m. crows..

1st boat ride of the season!

Papa Paul even let Joey drive the boat!
