Injury by sippy cup

Those of you that know me well, will just shake your head I"m sure. We were at my in-laws, and I was walking in from the deck inside to the kitchen, Joey had dropped his sippy cup, and i proceeded to step on it, fall, and somehow bruise the heck out of my left foot. So, I've been limping around all day. I have no idea how my day is going to go tomorrow, because I usually have around 13-15 patients on Mondays, and half are kids...
Derek managed to survive his 15th year playing softball/camping out at the Embarrass Fair.
Joey is officially 17 months old, and his favorite word is "NO!"... and we all have summer colds. I thought Joey would be up all night last night with a cough, but it was the dogs who took turns every hour starting at 11:00 having to go outside to go potty... That's life at the Aho household!

at least you didn't break anything..could have been a lot worse. I tripped over Taryn's chair and broke my pinky toe a few weeks back. ha ha You just hobble around feeling like a idiot for a few days...;) Hope it doesn't bother you too long! Not fun on top of summer colds and dogs with bad bladders! lol

Those of us who are also coordinationally challenged will identify with you, poor girl! You need doggie diapers and children's Tylenol. Can't help you with the "No!" thing, good luck with that....GAS

Remember, this is the girl that broke her finger, not once, but twice, by walking into a wall! I hope Joey inherits his Dads good coordination! Love Mom

As my old football coach would say Shelly, " get up and get moving, only cows lay down." Take one for the team. Ice, heat, ice, heat. Keep your foot elevated. Ice, heat, ice, heat................

Didn't you go to college to fix these types of problems?

Oh Shelley...I can relate to falling :( . Your foot is almost as big as your zucchini! Looks Like Joey is taking good care of you. Mend quickly. Linda

Darn sippy cups! Hope your foot is feeling better. Joey cracks me up..he has a Chucky smile in this picture. Looks like you'll have to sit with your feet up for the rest of the week. You'll probably need to be waited on hand and foot too. In your dreams, right?!?!

Get better soon!
